Jefferson, MO (June 17, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident took place in Jefferson that sent two people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 3:49 p.m., on June 13, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route PP.
Reports from authorities to show that a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta crashed into the rear of a 2010 Ford Escape on Route PP at the intersection of Shady Lane. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to overturn into a ditch on the right side of the road. The Volkswagen then ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox before crashing into a tree.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people inside the Ford suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victims, 24-year-old Pamela Bradshaw and 23-year-old Joshua Rogers, were both transported by North Jefferson County ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
At this time, Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Our thoughts are with Pamela Bradshaw and Joshua Rogers at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
