Car Accidents in Missouri
Every day, people in the state of Missouri are impacted by motor vehicle accidents. Although we want to believe that everyone traveling along our state’s roadways can do so safely, this is far from true. In fact, more than 5000 people are injured in auto accidents every month in our state. The majority of these accidents are caused by negligent drivers. According to statistics, over 80% of crashes that take place in Missouri and across the United States involve drunk drivers, distracted drivers, drivers who fail to yield the right-of-way, and motorists who engage in other reckless actions while operating vehicles.
Although there are various laws in place to protect motorists, we continue to see innocent parties harmed at an alarming rate. When people are injured in accidents due to the negligence of others, they may have legal options available to help them move forward. It is crucial that injured parties seek the assistance of a car accident lawyer in Johnson right away. Although injured parties have a period of up to two years to take legal action against the at-fault driver, waiting can jeopardize your chances of making a full and timely recovery.
