Kennett, MO (June 14, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Dunklin County left several people injured. At around 9:40 p.m., on June 10, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on US Highway 412.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2004 GMC Yukon crashed into a 2018 Nissan Murano on the eastbound side of US Highway 412, just two miles east of Kennett. The impact of the crash caused the Nissan to strike a 2008 Chrysler Aspen. The Aspen then collided with a 2017 GMC Acadia. All four vehicles suffered significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.

A total of five people involved in the accident were injured. EMS transported a 15-year-old female to Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas, for the treatment of injuries. A second EMS transported 28-year-old Briann King to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The last victim, 56-year-old Sandra Morgan, was transported to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri, for the treatment of serious injuries.

Our thoughts are with Briann King, Melissa Morgan, Donnie Lowe, Sandra Morgan, and the teen injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.
