Reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2013 Lincoln MKX was traveling the wrong way on US Highway 412. As a result, the vehicle collided head-on with a 1994 Oldsmobile Town Car. The Lincoln then collided with a 2002 Freightliner.

The Oldsmobile and the Lincoln both suffered totaling damages as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.

The driver of the Lincoln, 74-year-old Roy Witfield, was transported to Piggott Community Hospital for emergency medical care.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
