Kirksville, MO (June 13, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Adair County left one man injured. At around 5:15 p.m., on June 10, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route 6.
Reports provided by authorities show that a rear-end collision between a 2016 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis’s occurred on Missouri State Route 6, just two miles west of Kirksville.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene. MSHP and firefighters remained on-site for an extended period as they worked to clear the roadway.
The driver of the Mercury, 55-year-old Lloyd Raygor, was transported by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
