New London, MO (June 23, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an accident in Ralls County. At around 7:20 a.m., on June 20, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Route V.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 1992 Agco Rogator sprayer and a 2013 Hyundai Sonota collided on Route V during the morning hours. MSHP investigations found that the Agco was traveling northbound on the roadway when the driver failed to yield the right of way to the Hyundai. As a result, the two vehicles collided. The Hyundai was left with significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Missouri State Highway Patrol closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai, 61-year-old Lisa Kueck, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Lisa Kueck at this time. We hope for her full recovery.
