Osage Township, MO (June 5, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital with significant injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Bates County on Saturday evening, June 4. At around 5:35 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route B.
Reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision involving a 1999 Ford Ranger and a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country occurred on Route B I’ve been northbound on-ramp for Interstate 49. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Emergency medical services rendered aid to 69-year-old Diana Chapman at the scene. Chapman was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital by Bates County EMS for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
