Pettis, MO (June 23, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Pettis area left one person injured. At around 12:34 p.m., on June 20, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 52.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado and a 2004 Toyota Sienna were both stropped on Missouri State Route 52 to make a turn onto Hoffman Road. For unknown reasons, a 2018 Hyundai crashed into the rear of the2017 Chevrolet Colorado. The impact of the crash sent the Chevrolet crashing into the rear of the Toyota. A 2002 Kenworth then struck the side of the Chevrolet.
One person involved in the crash was injured. EMS treated 40-year-old Dabecka Kirk at the scene. She was then transported to Bothwell Regional Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
