Springfield, MO – Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Route M

Springfield, MO (June 9, 2022) – A vehicle collision reported in the  Springfield area left two women injured. At around 745 a.m., on June 3, Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route M.

Reports provided by authorities show that a rear-end collision involving a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox in a 2019 Kia Sorrento took place on Route M just one mile east of Springfield. The impact of the crash caused the Kia to collide with a 2015 Ford Taurus.

Two people involved in the accident suffered injuries. EMS transported 43-year-old Larissa Ledbetter and 53-year-old Kellie Davis to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for emergency medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
