St Charles, MO (June 24, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the St Charles area left three people injured. At around 6:10 p.m., on June 21, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports from local authorities show that a crash between a 2000 Ford Explorer and a 2016 Western Star 5700 blocked the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in the area just west of Lake St Louis Boulevard. The incident caused delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene and restore the flow of traffic.
A total of three people involved in the crash were injured. EMS rendered aid to a 14-year-old female, a 17-year-old female, and 25-year-old Jessica Anderson. The three victims were then transported by St Charles County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital St Louis for further care.
