St Louis, MO (June 24, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in St Louis claimed one person’s life. At around 4:50 a.m., on June 22, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 44.
Reports provided by MSHP show that a crash between a 2001 Chevrolet S10 and a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 44 in the area just west of Antire Road. The incident left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
EMS rendered aid to 43-year-old Ryan Goodwin at the scene. He was then transported to Mercy Hospital by Eureka Fire Protection District for the treatment of serious injuries.
The second victim, 21-year-old Noah Goodwin, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on-site.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
