West Quincy, MO – Auto Accident with Injuries Reported on US-24

West Quincy, MO (June 6, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of an auto accident reported in Marion County. At around 1:15 p.m., on June 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 24.

According to reports, a 2008 Mini Cooper was traveling on US Highway 24 when it collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. The Mini Cooper reportedly crossed over the center lines and struck the Chevrolet head-on.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.

A passenger inside the Chevrolet, 59-year-old Paula Forrest, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Blessing Hospital by Adams County ambulance.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
