Boone, MO (March 25, 2022) – One man was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Boone. Just before 8 p.m., on March 24, emergency crews were requested to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2022 International MV607 crashed into the rear of a 2013 Ford Fusion on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 near mile marker 134.2. The truck then went off the road and overturned.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident.
The driver of the Ford, 20-year-old Jamal Dawoud, sustained injuries in the accident.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
