Excelsior Springs, MO (March 17, 2022) – An accident that took place in Ray County sent one woman to an area hospital with injuries, according to local authorities. At around 10:30 a.m., on March 14, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Route W.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a 2005 GMC Yukon and a 1998 Triggs horse trailer occurred on Route Y just south of West 146th Street. The incident left both vehicles with moderate damage.
The driver of the GMC, 22-year-old Jessica Harris, sustained injuries in the accident. Harris was transported by Ray County EMS to Liberty Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
