Foristell, MO (March 20, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in St Charles County. At around 9:05 p.m., on March 16, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Highway W.
Reports from authorities show that a 2011 International Prostar was traveling in the area of Highway W, over Interstate 70, when it made a left turn in front of a 2017 Harley Davidson Streetglide. The motorcyclist was not able to stop their vehicle in time to account a collision. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Harley, 44-year-old Mark Winger, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.
A second person on the motorcycle, 46-year-old Brian Whaley, sustained serious injuries. Whaley was transported by St Charles County ambulance to Mercy Hospital St Louis for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
