Franklin, MO (March 13, 2022) – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Franklin area that left two people injured. At around 2:50 p.m., on March 9, a crash was reported on US Highway 50.
Reports from authorities show that a 2020 Nissan Rouge and a 1997 Buick Century were both stopped on the westbound side of US Highway 50 for a school bus near Route CC.
A 2001 Chevrolet Suburban passing through the area was unable to stop. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the rear of the Buick. The Buick then struck the Nissan.
Two people in the Nissan were injured. Both 73-year-old Linda Rowe and 85-year-old Warner Rowe were transported to Mercy Washington Hospital for care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
