Green Township, MO (March 8, 2022) – Two people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Platte County on Monday morning, March 7. At around 7:40 a.m., authorities were requested on-site at a collision on Interstate 29.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2021 Subaru and a 2009 Toyota collided on the southbound side of Interstate 29 in the area of mile marker 28.2. The incident left both vehicles with moderate damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. EMS treated 40-year-old Bradley Grasty at the scene. A second EMS transported 57-year-old Liliana Esteban to North Kansas City Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
