Houston, TX (March 31, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Texas County has left two people injured. Just after 5:45 p.m., on March 29, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 63.
Reports from authorities show that a 2016 Lexus RX 350 was traveling in the area of Highway 63 and Highway UU during the evening hours. As the vehicle attempted to make a left turn, it became involved in an accident with a 2006 Ford 500.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. The driver of the Lexus, 67-year-old Mary Logsdon, and the driver of the Ford, 87-year-old Jack McElroy, were both transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
