Jefferson, MO (March 23, 2022) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a traffic-related incident in the Jefferson area. At around 4:35 p.m., on March 22, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 21.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling north on Missouri State Route 21. A 2012 Chevrolet Colorado and 2018 Ford Focus were both traveling south on the same road.
As the two vehicles attempted to make left turns onto eastbound Missouri State Route 110, the Chevrolet Colorado collided with the Chevrolet Cruze. The impact of the crash caused the Colorado to strike a 2022 GMC Terrain. The Cruze then collided with the Ford.
The driver of the Cruze, 28-year-old Taylor Coe, sustained injuries in the accident. Coe was transported by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
