Jefferson, MO (March 17, 2022) – At around 10:50 a.m., on March 14, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Route TT.
Reports from MSHP Trooper C. W. Cherry show that a collision between a 2002 Ford Ranger and a 2020 Ford Fusion occurred on Route TT just north of Kessler Lane. The impact of the crash left both vehicles with extensive damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Two people in the Fusion were injured. EMS transported 78-year-old Richard Hart and 83-year-old Patricia Hart to Mercy Hospital South for the treatment of moderate injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Richard Hart and Patricia Hart at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Car Accidents in Missouri
Each year, motor vehicle accidents impact the lives of thousands of people across our state. Not only do people involved in collisions have their lives disrupted, but they are often left with significant financial, mental, and physical consequences as well. In many cases, victims sustain injuries that require extensive medical treatment. When victims break their bones or suffer traumatic head or neck injuries, they often need multiple surgeries and have to spend months off their feet or go to therapy.
Not being able to work while being overwhelmed with tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills not only impacts victims but their families as well. It does not seem right that victims who are injured in accidents as a result of the actions of others are forced to spend substantial amounts of money on treatment.
When victims are harmed in accidents as a result of other motorists, our state allows them to file legal claims against wrongdoers to recover compensation for the financial burdens they endure. Victims can benefit immensely by consulting with a car accident attorney in Jefferson who is well-versed in personal injury laws in our state.
