Jefferson, MO (March 25, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jefferson on Thursday afternoon ended in injuries. Just after 1 p.m., on March 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 67.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia was attempting to make a left turn from Montauk Drive onto southbound US Highway 67. The vehicle entered out into the roadway and became involved in a collision with a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt.
Three people involved in the accident were injured. The victims, who were identified as 18-year-old Alexis McCully, 20-year-old Nijah Moore, and 63-year-old Timothy Nevels, were all transported to Mercy Hospital in Jefferson for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
