Joplin, MO (March 20, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jasper County ended in injuries. At around 12:10 p.m., on March 17, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Central City Road.
Reports from authorities show that a 2020 Nissan Versa and a 2008 Lincoln MKX were involved in a crash on Central City Road. The incident left both vehicles with moderate damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Both drivers were injured in this accident. EMS transported 18-year-old Jesse Harper to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. The second driver, 26-year-old Amy Ruger, was transported to Mercy Joplin for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
