Kansas City, MO (March 9, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in Platte County on Sunday evening ended in injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
At around 4:40 p.m., on March 6, authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a collision on Interstate 29.
Reports show that a 2006 Infiniti FX35 and a 2015 Nissan Rogue collided on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident caused delays in the area of mile marker 10.2.
The driver of the Nissan, 53-year-old Teresa Thompson, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to St. Luke’s North by Kansas City Fire and EMS.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
