Kirksville, MO – Crash on US-63 Leaves Thomas Teach Injured

Kirksville, MO (March 12, 2022) – A two-vehicle accident reported in Adair County left one man injured, according to reports. At around 5:15 p.m., on March 10, the Missouri State Highway Patrol received the request for assistance on-site at a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 63.

Reports provided by MSHP MSGT Siegfried show that the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet 1500 lost control of their vehicle due to icy road conditions. As a result, the vehicle crossed over the center lanes of US Highway 63 and struck a 2013 Volkswagen CC just four miles south of Kirksville.

The driver of the Volkswagen, 52-year-old Thomas Teach, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. Adair County Ambulance transported Teach to Northeast Regional Medical Center for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
