Lee’s Summit, MO (March 10, 2022) – Just after 2 a.m., on March 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 470.
Reports provided by MSHP Trooper A. D. Lindgren show that a 2019 Mazda CX-5 and a 2020 International were involved in a collision near mile marker 11.2 on the southbound side of Interstate 470.
The incident resulted in injuries. EMS transported both 24-year-old Trevor Jackson and 51-year-old Burke Wilburn to Centerpoint Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
