Licking, MO (March 29, 2022) – One man was left with serious injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Texas County on Monday evening. Just after 5:15 p.m., on March 28, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a crash on Highway 137.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between a 2020 Kawasaki EX400 GJ and a 2002 Ford F-150 occurred on Highway 137 just two miles south of Licking. The incident caused some disruptions in traffic throughout the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
The driver of the Kawasaki, 26-year-old Colin Floyd, sustained serious injuries in the accident. Floyd was transported by Phelps Regional air ambulance to Mercy Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
