Mansfield, MO – Daniel Adkins Loses Life in Truck Crash on US-60

Mansfield, MO (March 14, 2022) – A truck accident reported in Wright County has claimed one man’s life. At around 12:20 p.m., on March 9, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a traffic-related incident on US Highway 60.

Reports from authorities show that a collision between a 2019 Peterbilt 579 and a 2010 Chevrolet 1500 occurred on US Highway 60 just one mile east of Mansfield.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 66-year-old Daniel Adkins, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
