Neelyville, MO (March 29, 2022) – Several people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Butler County on Monday morning, March 28.
At around 8:45 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 142.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2013 Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on US Highway 67 when it became involved in a crash with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado near Highway 142.
Three people involved in the accident were injured. EMS transported 65-year-old Carlis Emmons and 66-year-old Nancy Emmons, both of Holcomb, Missouri, to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet, 66-year-old Rex Wilburn of Neelyville, Missouri, was transported to the same hospital with moderate injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
