Orrick, MO (March 28, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in Ray County on Sunday evening ended in injuries. Just before 4:30 p.m., on March 27, emergency crews were requested on-site at a motor vehicle accident on Missouri State Route 210.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2018 Ford and a 1995 Mercedes were involved in a collision on Missouri State Route 210 just east of Pendleton Road. The incident resulted in both vehicles being totaled. The two vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police and firefighters remained on-site for an extended period as they worked to clear the roadway.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. 49-year-old Paul Odell was treated at the scene for undisclosed injuries. The second driver, 62-year-old Michael Tourney, was transported by Ray County EMS to North Kansas Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
