Pike, MO (March 11, 2022) – One man was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Pike County. Just after 3:15 p.m., on March 6, emergency crews were requested on-site at a traffic-related incident on Highway 79.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision between a 2017 Husqvarna TC50 and a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt occurred on Highway 79 at the intersection of Pike 245.
The incident resulted in injuries. 19-year-old Shane McLaughin was transported by Arch to Mercy Hospital for the emergency medical treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
