Poplar Bluff, MO (March 26, 2022) – One man was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Butler County. Just after 1 p.m., on March 25, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash on US Highway 67.
Reports provided by MSHP Trooper CD Berry show that a collision between a 2004 Ford Freestar and a 2013 Freightliner Conventional occurred on US Highway 67 just three miles south of Poplar Bluff.
The incident left the Ford with extensive damage, requiring it to be towed from the scene.
The Ford’s driver, 77-year-old George Holland, sustained injuries in the accident. Holland was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
