Richwood Township, MO (March 4, 2022) – A young woman has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Boone County on Wednesday evening, March 2.
At around 5:20 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route 124.
Reports from authorities show that a 17-year-old male was driving a 2005 Ford F-150 when he became involved in an accident just west of Dodd Road. The vehicle then struck a concrete culvert and overturned.
A passenger in the truck, 18-year-old Molly Jones, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
