Rolla, MO (March 24, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Maries County left one woman injured. At around 11:48 p.m., on March 19, emergency crews were requested on-site at a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 63.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2019 Ford Expedition was stopped on Highway 63 just 7 miles north of Rolla, attempting to make a left turn.
The driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic failed to stop and crashed into the rear of the Ford.
The driver of the Ford, 46-year-old Rhonda Drennan, was injured in the accident. Drennan was transported by Phelps Health Ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
