Sedalia, MO (March 19, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries following an auto accident in the Sedalia area. At around 9:20 a.m., on March 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident on US Highway 65.
Reports from authorities show that a 2020 Chevrolet 2500 and a 2014 Jeep Trailhawk collided on US Highway 65 in the area of Rebar Road. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The passenger in the Jeep, 56-year-old Debra Mendez, sustained injuries in the accident. Mendez was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
