Springfield, MO (March 14, 2022) – One man was left seriously injured following a truck accident in Greene County on Friday evening. At around 9:50 p.m., on March 11, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 413.
Reports from MSHP show that a collision involving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala and a 2007 Freightliner occurred on the roadway, blocking traffic just one mile west of Springfield.
The incident caused moderate delays throughout the area as MSHP and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 60-year-old Darrell Fullington, sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was rushed to Mercy Springfield for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Darrell Fullington at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
