St Charles, MO (March 21, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the St Charles area ended in injuries. At around 8:49 a.m., on March 19, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Highway 94.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that 30-year-old Alberto Salas was riding a bicycle in the area of Highway 94 when he was struck by a 2007 Ford F-150 just west of Weldon Spring Boat Access.
The rider sustained injuries in the accident. EMS transported Salas to Mercy Hospital St Louis where he underwent emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
