St Charles, MO (March 19, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in St Charles sent one child to a local hospital with injuries. At around 4:45 p.m., on March 17, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, a 2018 Dodge Caravan, and a 2016 Honda Accord were involved in a crash on Interstate 70. The incident caused delays on the eastbound lanes just west of Wentzville Parkway.
A child in the Dodge was injured. EMS transported the 2-year-old girl to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital – Lake St Louis for emergency medical care.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
