St Charles, MO (March 12, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of an auto accident in the St Charles area on Friday morning, March 11. Just after 8:20 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a collision on Interstate 70.
Reports from MSHP indicate that a collision involving a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, a 2020 Ford F-250, and a 2014 Chevrolet Impala occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 just west of Fifth Street.
The incident caused moderate delays throughout the area as MSHP and firefights worked to clear the scene.
EMS treated 65-year-old Audrey Peterson at the scene for injuries. She was then transported to St Joseph Hospital East for further care.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
