St Louis, MO (March 14, 2022) – One person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a two-vehicle accident in St Louis. At around 9:26 p.m., on March 11, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision involving a 2011 Ford Fusion and a 2016 Ford Explorer occurred on the eastbound side of the interstate just east of Cypress.
The driver of the Fusion, 18-year-old Christopher Brand, sustained injuries in the accident. Brand was transported by Community Fire Protection District to SSM Health Depaul Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
