St Louis, MO (March 16, 2022) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries after a fire broke out during the morning hours on in the South City section of St Louis. At around 10 a.m., on March 12, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a fire on Southwest Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a fire broke out inside a home located in the 6100 block of Southwest Avenue. Firefighters rushed to the scene to battle the blaze during the morning hours.
Two people were injured as a result of the fire. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for medical care.
