St Louis, MO (March 23, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the St Louis area on Monday afternoon left one person injured. At around 3:10 p.m., on March 21, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 44.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a 2005 Dodge Dakota and a 2020 Kenworth T680 occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 44 just west of Lewis Road.
The incident caused some delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.
The driver of the Dodge, 32-year-old Kagan Buffer, sustained injuries in the accident. Buffer was transported by Eureka Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital in Washington for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
