St Louis, MO (March 8, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in St Louis City sent two people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 1:50 a.m., on March 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested at the scene of an accident on Interstate 70.
Reports from MSHP show that the front right corner of a 2016 Dodge Charger crashed into the rear corner of a 2015 Chevrolet Trax while traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 near St Louis Avenue.
Two people inside the Trax were injured. The victims, 29-year-old Demetrius Buchanan and 32-year-old Harold Shropshire were both transported to SSM Health St Louis University Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
