Ste Genevieve, MO (March 31, 2022) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon in Ste Genevieve. At around 3:45 p.m., on March 29, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto wreck on Highway 32.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2015 Kia Optima was traveling west on Highway 32 when it became involved in an accident with a 1998 Chevrolet 1500 just west of Jogger Street.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. Ste Genevieve Ambulance Services transported 19-year-old Austin Capps to Mercy Jefferson Hospital for the treatment of moderate injuries. Air Evac transported 55-year-old Donna Bieser to SSM Health St Louis University Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
