Warrensburg, MO (March 20, 2022) – One man was left with moderate injuries after a collision in Johnson County. At around 1:20 p.m., on March 17, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Highway 50.
Reports from authorities show that a 1999 Pontiac Firebird and a 2015 Freightliner were traveling in the left lanes of eastbound Highway 50 when they became involved in a crash near Northeast 501 Road.
The driver of the Pontiac, 19-year-old Joseph Wandell of Marshall, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. Wandell was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
