Warrensburg, MO (March 29, 2022) – Two men were left injured as a result of a two-vehicle accident reported in Johnson County on Monday morning, March 28.
At around 7:20 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Missouri State Highway 13.
Reports provided by authorities show that a head-on collision between a 2018 Nissan and a 2011 Ford occurred on Missouri State Highway 13 in the area of Route H during the morning hours.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The two drivers involved in the accident were injured. EMS transported 29-year-old Imran Ahmed to Centerpoint Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. The second victim, 35-year-old Santos Timoteo, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
