Washington, MO (March 16, 2022) – One man was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Washington. At around 10:05 p.m., on March 12, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Route U.
Reports from authorities show that a 2019 Toyota Camry and a 1991 GMC Sierra collided on Route U at the intersection of Laird Lane during the evening hours. The incident left both vehicles with moderate damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
A passenger in the Toyota, identified as 21-year-old Austin Parker, sustained injuries in the accident. Parker was transported by St Francois County EMS to Parkland Health Center Farmington for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
