Aurora, MO – Four Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Route ZZ

Aurora, MO (May 26, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Lawrence County has left four people injured. At around 4:45 p.m., on May 24, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Route ZZ.

Reports from local authorities show that a 2018 Dodge Journey and a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado collided on Route ZZ just one mile north of Aurora. The incident left both vehicles with significant damage. The two vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

A total of four people were injured in the accident. EMS transported a 14-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy to Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri for medical care. Two other victims, 18-year-old Jessy Mahan and 18-year-old Nicolette Willits, were both transported to Cox Hospital in Monett, Missouri.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
