Callaway, MO – Two Juveniles Injured in Crash on I-70 near MM 147.4

Callaway, MO (May 29, 2022) – Two young boys were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Callaway area on Friday evening. Just before 9:40 p.m., on May 27, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 70.

Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between a 2012 Honda Pilot and a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 in the area near mile marker 147.4. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the crash it had to be towed from the scene.

Two juvenile males inside the Honda, identified as a 10-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy, sustained injuries in the crash. Both victims were transported by ambulance to University Hospital for emergency medical care.

At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
