Clinton Township, MO (May 9, 2022) – One man suffered serious injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Henry County on Saturday afternoon, May 7. At around 1:30 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Henry County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 18.
Reports provided by authorities show that a c2009 Harley Davidson was traveling in the area of Highway 18 and Northwest 401 Road. For unknown reasons, a 2009 Chevrolet Impala entered the rider’s pathway, resulting in a collision.
The motorcyclist, 45-year-old Jeremy Cassaday, sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was airlifted by Life Flight and transported to University Health in Kansas City.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
