Car Accidents in Missouri
Vehicle collisions across the state of Missouri are often entirely preventable. We see a significant number of people who suffer serious injuries and accidents due to drivers who engage in reckless and negligent actions. Some of the most common causes of crashes in our state include:
Impairment: we see thousands of people suffer severe injuries and accidents due to drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Driving while impaired can severely impact a person’s ability to maintain control of their vehicle and avoid a collision.
Distractions: when drivers take their attention off the road, they increase the likelihood that they are going to crash into other vehicles traveling nearby. Traffic patterns can change in the blink of an eye, which makes it incredibly important that drivers are well aware of what is going on around them.
Recklessness: although we are required to operate our vehicles in a manner that is safe, we continue to see a significant number of people who engage in reckless actions while operating their vehicles. When drivers speed, run red lights, or engage in other actions, they are likely to lose control of their vehicles and crash.
